How I fell in love with AI fashion image creation

While I understand what innovation means, I also appreciate the art of crafting. Being born in a Millennial era has given me the opportunity to live in between both. The personal uniqueness of one's creativity is something that can't be replaced today by any tool; this is where Creative Direction comes in. And prompting is yet another way of crafting art.

Do I think this is the end of classic photography
and models? Absolutely not.

Initially, I was skeptical since everything I saw seemed quite far from reality.
What I learned is that with my photographic skills, I can give specific directions on the camera, light, lenses, and parameters that I would use to create my own photography. Now, I can do this in places with stunning faces that I haven't yet been able to shoot in real life, all while maintaining my own signature style!

Taking pictures, or filming, is much more than just the final asset; it's about the moment of capture. It's about what's happening, the connection between model and photographer, and the time and space that can't be replicated through a laptop, and it is appreciative in the final results.

Similar to the distinction between film photography and digital photography, there's room for everything depending on the purpose of use.

The Process

The Briefing

Like any other project or brand building work, the Llu process is based on a briefing - a detailed explanation of the client's projections and needs that sets expectations. This happens by having a comprehensive discussion, where we establish the basis of the client ideas that will be translated into tangible visual assets.

The briefing is essential and I am dedicated to be aligned with you on what inspires you, the brand positioning, and competition aspects.

Concept generation

After having built the briefing, first concepts are explored - AI-generated mockups based on the briefing, inspired by your vision. While in the traditional creative process these first concepts are still just initial ideas taken from existing assets in the cloud, or drafts, with Llu.ai these will already be unique to your brand, and so skipping the production process.

Having chosen the direction of the first concept meeting, the variation process comes into place, where the assets will be extended to fit different purposes, creating multiple iterations to explore different angles, styles, or moods.

Final approval

At the approval phase you will feedback the work and ask for refinement where necessary to ensure that the final image aligns with both your standards and expectations, before the final delivery.

Lluisa Fàbregas

Originally from Barcelona, I’m an independent Creative Director based in Amsterdam and working worldwide.

I started in my 20s as a designer and photographer at Mango, built my own brand, and even reinvented the global image standards of established brands like Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein.

This journey has given me the chance to work with
a wide range of industries and cultures, which has shaped my versatility.

I believe in a collaborative way of working, which is what led me to create my own independent studio. The goal is to develop fresh perspectives
and embrace the freedom to experiment across different fields, always treating each project as an opportunity to create something unique.

My purpose is simple: to deeply understand the needs of clients, the market, and the society we live in,
